Day-Tuesday/ Time 12.45-14.15/ Age 0-5/ Activity - Learning through play

Learning through play is an active learning environment and involves: arts, crafts, sand and water play, stories and songs, role play and so much more.

Day-Wednesday/ Time 09.15-10.15/ Age 0-5/ Activity - Music and rhyme

Music and rhyme is a chance to play musical instruments, use hand/finger puppets, play with a parachute and various Lycra games, learn songs, sing and take part in action songs, meet other children and also to have fun.

Day-Thursday/ Time 13.00-14.15/ Age 0-1 year/ Activity – Twinkle Time

Twinkle time enriches baby’s senses through exploring the sensory room. The session involves using light tunnels, bubble tubes, music and sound mats, fibre optic lights and also the use of a disco ball.

Day-Thursday/ Time 13.00-16.00/ Age – Pre-Birth/ Activity – Antenatal Clinic

The clinic provides an opportunity for expectant mothers to see their midwife and monitor the progress and development of their unborn child.

Day-Friday/ Time - please contact centre for details/ Age 6+ months/ Activity – Baby Weaning

For parents and carers to gain understanding and provide advice and support about their babies making the transition from milk to solid foods.

This course is a parent and child interaction programme aimed to help parents and children learn and grow up to be the best they can be. Interactive workshop and video sessions involved.

This offers parents guidance in raising children’s self esteem, also strategies for managing behaviour. It incorporates the parenting puzzle of how to get the most out of family life.

For prospective parents who wish to breastfeed, advice and support is given, also extra support and advice for mothers who are already breastfeeding.

Day-Tuesday/ Time 12.45-13.45/ Age 2-5/ Activity – Soft Play

Soft play is a fun activity involving the use of play mats, pop-up tents, ball pits, plastic balls, plastic tubes, hula hoops and much more.

Day-Tuesday/ Time 14.00-15.00/ Age 04-23 Months/ Activity – Baby Gym

Baby gym provides a safe, soft play experience for your baby to enjoy. This session includes using ball pools, soft mats, soft shapes and also rolling materials for the baby to use to encourage support and balance.

Day-Wednesday/ Time 09.15-10.30/ Age 0-5/ Activity - Learning through play

Day-Thursday/ Time 09.30-10.30/ Age 0+ / Activity – Baby Clinic

An opportunity where your baby can be weighed and measured.  Also you may wish to have a informal chat should you wish to discuss anything with your local health visitor. (4th Thursday of the month)

Day-Friday/ Time 08.00-18.00/ Age 0-5/ Activity – Toy and Book Library

A free toy and book loan service for babies and children up to five years old. Why not come along!!!!! (Accessible Monday to Friday)
